Anybody else out for a ride lately?

CBXs, new bikes, old bikes, cars, trucks, general chat, off topic, this is the place to post it.

Anybody else out for a ride lately?

Post by steve murdoch icoa #5322 »

I think there is one of these " ride" threads already started but i could not find it. Feel free to add your own pics

Riding around the other day through vineyards and came across these three old trucks.
Obviously just a display but a cool look.

Thanks for the compliments, Gents.
Surely some of you guys have been out and about. Add your own pics and story.

Another jaunt last week about an hour from where i live.
Ended up in Dunnville home of the Catfish Derby. This thing is massive and truth be told not very attractive. lol.

I can't post pics, but we've been touring southern Utah lately, me on the Griso and my bride on her Spyder. Unbelievable scenery and weather. When we get home, I'll post pics.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Not much in the way of Fall colours from the trees in my area so i have to be content with the vines and shrubs.
Not that one is really needed but it is a good excuse for a ride.

Recent rides with Oregon vintage club. Not all the bikes are vintage but they are special.

You'll have to look close in the 2nd picture but there is a '79 CBX in the background. As I was taking the 2nd picture, rocks starting tumbling down the hillside, and I thought I'd have toss my body over the near perfect tank paint. :o

Steve, if you wanna ride that beautiful machine to Riverdale we can go out and get some really nice shots of it with the city skyline, or catch some fall colors at Chester Hill.

Never been to The Lookout but years ago {20?] spent lots of time hiking around the Don River. Girlfriend at the time lived near Dundas and Greenwood and we would walk the dogs on the other side of the DVP from you.

Took the 2002 Superhawk out this morning. Been years since I have ridden it. A 10,000 mile bike and it needed a new tank, fuel guage, and carbs cleaned. (An expensive mistake on my part) Also installed speed bleeders, new plugs, new air filters, replaced fluid in brakes and clutch and flushed the cooling system. Had been thinking about selling till I rode it again. I quickly rememebered what I great bike this is but it seems to have gotten smaller with age. Much more cramped riding position that I remembered!

Gee whiz, John. I found my 10,000 mile Superhawk fairly easy to work on. :-)

I took the '82 out for a spin the other day. Beautiful weather, CBX ran flawlessly and rode super comfortable with a Progressive shock and Progressive fork springs.

I think we have more cows than people up here!

Just enough of a breeze to make the sailors happy and keep me cool.

175 miles across Lake Ontario is Niagara Falls and another CBX.

And had to say hello to Winnie and Christopher Robin.

CBX now has over 34,000 miles (21,000 of them mine) on it.

Nice pics of a great looking bike!
Really like that rear rack, Steve.
A small part that flows well with the lines of the bike.
