Nice sound with decent numbers.
Best part is no cloud of smoke.

It's been lots of work and taken way too long. I could have paid someone to fabricate it and would most likely cost less. That being said, every time I walk past the old girl, I really like the way it looks, sounds and can't wait to ride it next spring!!

So, Mike, what are you going to do with the CBR-XX mufflers? I have a scuffed pair on the Blackbird, and would be interested in buying them.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Thanks guys, Rick the right side Blackbird muffler has a pretty decent sized ding and the slip on portion at the front of the mufflers have been cut off.

Oh well. It was worth a shot.

I really like the look of the XX mufflers on the X. Almost as much as the new set-up.

Looks very cool, Mike.
I see the stock airbox, What did you do about jetting with your pipes?

The pipes look very nice, and that flyscreen is a cool touch, too. You have me thinking now about if my bike needs one.

Mike the bike looks fantastic, you have the patience of a Saint to have finally dialed in the exhaust, well worth your effort.

The ZRX running gear is great looking, I 'm looking forward to your overall review of the bike once you put it through its paces.

Thanks for the pictures,
Jeff

One of the coolest CBX builds I've seen in a while. That exhaust was truly a labor of love. Mike, do you think you could get a video of a fly-by of the bike in motion, on the boil? I want to hear those pipes howl in anger.
