Carb settings for Bassani pipe

Post by bdento59 »

Any suggestions on carb setup for Bassani pipes? The bike is an otherwise stock '80, TIA.

I had a Bassani on a '79 with stock carbs that had a mid rev stumble.
Replaced the single K&N paper air filter with the stock Honda foam filter and it ran very well.
That was with the wide/loud baffle.

K&N paper filter? Is there such a thing? I thought that all K&N filters were oil impregnated cotton.

My mistake.
Fortunatley in my case and i repeat in my case only, the swap to the stock foam filter relieved the stumble.
