Re: Steventatt builds a 220 HP CBX
i also have fitted a cbr 1100 rear swing arm, 5.5"-17" rear wheel and now run a 190/50R17 shinko 010 rear tyre.
engine has been taken out to 1300cc with head, cam and crank work.. carbs will no longer give me as much fuel as i need.. thinking of going to fuel injection.
has any any of you guys done this and what may my best result be????
regards steve..

EMS and Stefan Jung are the guys you need to talk to about fuel-injection.

We will definitely need a follow-up report including pics when you get things sorted out.
Big carbs, big engine, upgraded suspension...it sounds very interesting.

How did you get to 1300cc? What size pistons did you use? 1300cc translates to basically 72mm bore when keeping the original stroke. Did you bore the cases?

Remarkable.
We're junkies for the nitty-gritty: Would you please share the outline of your mods without delving into your 'secret sauce' if you don't want to? I bet Jan would love to do an article about the project for the club magazine.
