That screw looks like it is still available from Bike Bandit, which normally means you can still get it at your local Honda dealer. #8 on the fiche "Screw Set A", and it appears to include spring and washer with it. Pretty steep price at over $17.00.

Looking at a Honda fiche shows the part # to be 16016-410-601.

You appear to be right with the part number Steve I suppose it would of helped if I had put it there in my first post.

SNeck, send me an email. I've got new japanese made air/fuel mixture screws (AKA pilot needles), also the washers and orings. Presumably you kept the springs but I've got those too if you need them. I'm not sure if you pm'ed me earlier but if so I apologize. I rarely think to check.

Yes, they are slow jets. That's what I thought you were looking for when you said idle jets. Unique to the 79. What you are looking for, I would call air mix screws. Sorry.
Another English-English vs American English difference??

I think we use that term too, here in the U.S.. But when you said "jet" I was automatically thinking of a brass part with a defined orifice... :D :D
