My wallet hurts

I think I have the "classic" rust through problem with my left exhaust. Any suggestions for a fix or replacement without breaking the bank would be appreciated.

I definately want to keep the bike stock so the aftermarket isn't too attractive to me.

Hi,I had the same "problem" on one of my CBX's,a cheap and easy fix to get you thru the summer is:go to Lowes and get one of their st.st. clamps,2 inch wide, they have a rubber flange inside ,take tis out and fix your exhaust. They use them for fixing pipes, look in the plumming department.I have it on my 80 CBX and you can hardly see it.Now you have time to save up for a new one! John.

Thanks for the reply John,

I took a slightly different route and used metal duct tape. I think your method is the way to go though. Think I'll take a ride up to Lowes!
