bike smoking

Post by DevonCbx »

Hi, although I have received a lot of information regarding my CBX smoking when accelerating and decelerating, I spoke to a mechanic today regarding No 01 cylinder oiling up the spark plug after several hundred KMS. He said to try to add about an once of motor oil to number 01 cylinder. He claims that sometimes this may lossen up the ring. This may stop the smoking. What is anyones opinion on this topic.

Thanks :?:

If they don't sell Marvel mystery oil in Canada just pick up some transmission fluid, its the same thing and much cheaper.

ATF
"It's a friggen motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The wind noise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you shit your pants every now and then. "
