Don't know who he is but that looks like an original tank/seat/fairing unit with very slight mods on the rear end. The front mudguard is non standard.

Where's Weaver
Goss/Mike,
I have seen that MM at a few Euro Rallies and it is owned by a member of the Dutch cbx club. Afraid can't remember his name. I expect he will be at the Euro rally in the UK in August this year.Bookings from USA,Japan,Germany,Norway,Finland,France,Denmark,Holland and Rep of Ireland so far as well as all over the UK so should be a big one. Last time we had 150 on the rideout so hope we top that this year. ICOA members very welcome. David Silver Spares,Delkevic and the Sixcentre say they are coming to sell cbx parts to the masses!
cheers Mel

Where is Weaver?
Hi Steve,
The riders will be broken down into groups of arond 50 and escorted by marshalls from our southern group(you might be asked!) and there will be a designated pre planned route with each rider getting details before the off. Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Magazine did a two page feature with pictures of the bikes leaving the venue etc and I did something similar in the UK club magazine. I think Gordon Gooch may have done a video. I will have to look in my receords.
See you there. cheers Mel ICOA 1876

Some more for you
I thought the seat was a vf1000r race/pattern/modded seat, but age comes, memory goes. Pics taken at Scheveningen beach, The Hague, in around 1985. I haven't written any dates on the back.

I found a set including a tank a couple fo years ago and always wanted to modify a CBX to look like that.

Thanks for the pics, weaver!!
I sure hope the lights on the bike on the left didn't throw the heat balance of the motor too much out of whack...

Is this the same fella that posted the pics of the all Black CBX with the similar bodywork yrs ago, you know the pics with his wife half nagged sitting on the bike?
I have the pic somewhere, I'll post it up if I find it.
Well not so similar after all but I do believe its the same fella and the pic is worth posting anyways, nice smile no?

I'm thinking those lights might just suck the alternator right through the jack shaft!!EMS wrote:Thanks for the pics, weaver!!
