It may seem a bit early to bring this up, but I've been talking to several folks about events or meetings this winter. Here's what's been suggested so far:
Columbus, Ohio- Always fun, centrally located for a lot of the regulars. Attractions include Iron Pony and the AMA Museum.
Cleveland Motorcycle show- Did this last year and it was great. The show itself was only "good", but the company and side trips made up for that.
Daytona- Need I say more?
Barber Museum trip- This could be any time during the cold months. Easy trip for those of us near the Mason-Dixon Line.
Antique Bike Auction in Las Vegas, January- Lots of bikes up for sale, held in a huge casino complex. Lots to see outside of Vegas too, Hoover Dam, Death Valley, Red Rocks, etc. http://www.midamericaauctions.com/
Riding rally at Fort Davis, TX. and Big Bend NP- Long way to go for most. I've done it twice (1500 miles from here in Indiana) and would gladly do it again. Late Feb/early March is best time. Roads are few, but incredible. Imagine RoadRunner cartoon roads.
If you have other ideas or comments, please speak up!

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

One vote for Barber
We could begin it early (Wednesday?) for those who want to bring a bike (or two) and RIDE, have an evening for club meetings, another evening for a big dinner, tour the museum on Saturday and EAT everyday!
We just need to set a date early enough for everyone to incorporate it into their plans

Re: 2012 Winter Rally or Rallies
Given that I've done Barber several times, and will be there again this October for their great Vintage weekend, I'll put that one low on my list. Vegas sounds neat!! The Vegas thing would present a good venue to get together with West coast folks. Right about the Cleveland event: good company and dinner times made it good last year
Maybe do a poll thing?

I will go past Daytona on my annual trip to Key West sometime end of January, early February. Otherwise either Columbus or Cleveland are my favorites.
