Congratulations, Phil! Now all your work on that CBX is not in vain, as you have someone to hand it down to....

Re: Well, look who's here...
The guy I bought it from had barely ridden it for 10 years, but he didn't want to sell it because he planned to give it to his son. When his son turned 16, Mom put the brakes on that plan - he was 17 when I scored the bike.EMS wrote:Congratulations, Phil! Anyhow, Beau can get whatever bike he likes when he's ready, in the meantime there's this:
Funny thing is, he was selling it to get a KTM 690 Enduro - and I had sold my KTM Duke 690 to buy the CBX.

Congratulations Phil, I can't tell if that's a smile or a smirk on your face but it looks like Beau is in good hands.
My son grew up going to CBX rallies and he turned out okay, before you know it your son will be able to reach the bars on the CBX and that will be that, he'll be hooked. Over the 20 some years I have been associated with the CBX club I have seen a couple father and son members and it's always been a special thing to whiteness, here's hoping the same for you and Beau.
