They really are a sickness.

Post by whatscooking »

When I ordered the CBX II book I told Louis I might of done a bad thing a couple of weeks ago. I brought home a very early production 79Z this week. Been looking but they are always far away or priced too high for me. I clicked on my local craigslist and THERE was one close by that needed some work. Couldn't reply fast enough. I now have a early model Z and a 82C. That still leaves me two more years to find. :text-search:

Actually there are three of them at my place right now. Somehow I convinced myself, and my wife, that one of those with the fairing would be nice. Then I found one of those early silver ones with 7000 miles sitting sadly neglected bird sh%@ on it. They bought the parts and I have learned carbs and valve shims. I have learned to tackle problems that come along, me and the book that is and all the reading I have done on here, takes hours sometimes.
Anyway I found a 27xx sn Z that has a story to tell but now it is my job to bring her back to life.
