Ian and EMS:

I will be driving my mostly fully loaded pickup to Fontana Dam at 0 dark 25  on Wednesday the 17th of June. Ian - I will have room to take along any hats if you wish me to :face: . I will also be bringing along several of the last 4 issues of the CBXpress to the rally. And, I also would love to have one of the CBX-C :twocents-02cents: hats as mentioned in an earlier post. Just let me know.

@ EMS and ICOA#5762,
That is a good idea for me to send some Caps for you guys to sell to CBXers at the ICOA Rally. I will ask Jan if this is ok. The green Caps are made for our Irish Rally, but the red/silver/black were made to fill the Order. They are good quality and all that have bought them seem happy.

@ Sasha,
The CBX-B and CBX-C Caps should be ready by the Summer. I am having to PUSH the manufacturer to make them as they don't like doing so much stitching/embroidery (but the $$$ will eventually persuade them!!!). I will keep you all informed when they will be available.

Best, IAN

Sasha,

I see you are in San Diego ... I keep some of my Bikes outside Fallbrook (East from Oceanside) at a cousin's citrus farm. Next time I am over there, we should organize for the San Diego CBXers to meet up for a breakfast or lunch? It would be great to meet the guys down there again! I met them all before when researching/writing the first "CBX Book."

I bought one via ebay and it arrived today.

WOW - what a nice cap! My wife is normally a lot more attentive & fussy about that stuff, and she couldn't believe how nice it is. :)

Thank you so much for all the effort, Ian.

Hi Phil,

I'm glad you like you "CBX Cap" ... I have had a lot of positive feedback about them. There aren't too many left now.

Jan Ringnalda is helping me again and will have a few at the ICOA Rally on weekend of 19th June 2015 (plus a few I donated as door prizes).

Hi 'cross',

The white CBX-C and grey CBX-B Caps are progressing. I have now received samples from the manufacturers (but in the wrong colours unfortunately) to show embroidery. Once I get a final product within the next 2 months, i will keep folks updated.

Hi 'Mouse',

I have a handful of black 'CBX Caps' left ... a few in red, and more in silver.

Jan Ringnalda (ICOA President) has a few left from he recent Rally in Ohio. It may be cheaper postage from there to canada (US$7.00 from Hong kong to Canada).

I might replace the motorcycles with the word Super Sport but I like your idea too!

Hi 'Nighthawk',

I wanted folks looking at the Cap to know immediately that they were dealing with a Motorcyclist!!

I was going to put 'Super Sport' on the side of the cap, but have had to delete that because of production costs (too many embroideries!).
