Motorcycle Alarms

Post by hondaman160mph »

Anyone have an alarm on their CBX?
I am considering installing an alarm, maybe a Gorilla or this new tracking device I was reading about in the latest issue of Cycle World.

I put a LoJack on 2 of my oldest collectibles, including a 76 Benelli 750 Sei. To show how good it is, one day my wife inadvertently struck the poor thing with her car, knocking it over. No damage thankfully, but I got a series of phone calls & emails from LoJack warning me that the bike had been over! It's a bit costly ( about a grand) but works like a miracle.

If your bike's stolen, most state police can track a LoJack alarm to within a block of where the bile is so they may even recover it before it is parted out!

Consists of a small chip they hide on your bike, and another chip attached to your key chain. If one is moved without the other, you get the alarms. Neat!
