CBXPress spotted?

Post by Ringnalda »

Yes I know; it's late again. However even though we had to dig deep to get a couple of articles so that a CBXPress could be put together, it looks like another magazine has magically been created. While it is easy to sit back and complain about the fact that the magazine is never on time, please also note that I had to write 3 'fill-in' articles to make the number of pages work. This is alongside family commitments (first) work commitments (second) hobbies like riding my bikes, trackdays for bikes and cars and other hobbies (third) which means writing articles for the CBXPress typically gets done on an airplane or late at night. All of you who are reading this are literate, please note I don't mind writing something but the whole process of a magazine compilation is soo much easier/faster if there is material to choose from, rather than ad-hoc having to add bits. So please, if you have some time, just dig out some photo's (Modern cell phones take great photo's) and write something. Winter is coming in, bikes are getting parked for the season and this is a great time to write about this last summer events. I would like to get a CBXPress out in January to have details about events in 2015, but since there is NO material left, it may have to be the flyer... Send your submissions to mrcbx@att.net.
Last but not least, if you received your CBXpress and like it don't hesitate to let us know. Also if there is a local event/hangout where people that may be interested in the CBX motorcycle gather, let me know if you want us to send some copies of the CBXPress for distribution; we have some older issues that would be perfect for attracting new interest at cars&coffee events, Bikenights, etc.

Cheers, Jan

I think it's a great magazine Jan.

The latest was way cool with the bikes lined up at the carrier pier.

I like to read what others are doing and how they get it done. Always learning something new from the magazine and the forums.

I do appreciate the effort you put forth .

Arrived in PA about a week ago - very well done! Hope this might inspire some of you guys doing restorations/customs/whatever to chronicle your project and submit it. Guarantee you'll become famous!

This was my first issue and I was very impressed. I am a member of 4 motorcycle clubs and it was surprisingly well done in comparison. Thanks for quality of the contents and entertainment value.

Who is managing membership these days? I did not get mine, likely because I did not update my mailing address with the club :-).

Latest magazine has not shown up here yet, I usually see them about the same time you announce it.
It may be that my membership has lapsed?
I do try to stay on top of that.

solarmoose and NobleHops:

I have been selected as the Membership Director and here is what I will do - Jan is sending me a box of the new CBXpress issue and if both of you could give me your addresses, I will see that you get one. If you wish, you can email me at Camcover@outlook.com. solarmoose - I will try to find out if you are indeed paid up.
