Another good week for keeping the CBX in the public eye. This weeks issue of Motorcycle News (MCN) has 16 page pullout supplent on 'Honda Icons' has picture of sandcast 79 plus short write up.
This months October issue of Classic Motorcycle Mechanics goes one better with an excellent feature on what the CBX would look like if Honda relaunched as a Cafe Racer with modern running gear etc. Nice two page picture spread of one in mainly black plus another picture on page 5 of one in candy red. Also a feature on US airman Lee Samelak who is based in the UK and has restored a very nice black 1980 model. I exchanged emails with Lee when he first moved to the UK.
