Beautifully rebuilt carbs
Just unpacked these returning from a visit to Dave McMunn's shop (Daves79X)
Rebuilt, clean as a whistle, new bowl and bracket screws, clamps, re-plated brackets, polished caps. Throttle action smooth and silky. Petcock rebuilt, autovalve rebuilt. Lines replaced where needed, all the needed internal orings and gaskets replaced. Wet-tested. Fantastic.
Thank you very much for taking these on Dave. I'm likely 6 months away from hearing the bike fire up, but this will the the last thing I worry about working perfectly.

Re: Beautifully rebuilt carbs
Those would look nice mounted on a plaque on the wall. But, it would be a shame not to have them mixing fuel and air as intended.

Glad they arrived before you left. Better save some adjectives until they're on the bike and running! Thanks

Re: Beautifully rebuilt carbs
Curious, how much did that set you back? I'd love to have mine gone through on my '81.

Re: Beautifully rebuilt carbs
Nils, I'm with Rick. I'de be torn between mounting them on a wall ( I'm thinking right over the mantelpiece ), or on the bike.
Jewelry, that's what they are, mechanical jewelry.
Great product placement, BTW
