I spent a LOT of time in Tucson back then. Ever dealt with an independent bike shop there called Bud's Out Back? Very good people back then - I think they're still around.

Once a hooligan, always a hooligan. haha.

Nils, There's a small spot not too far from you called Hot Well Dunes that you have to check out when you get a chance. A group of 4 went there from Michigan between Christmas and the first week in January back in 2000 and it was the trip of a life time. Hot Well Dunes was our base camp and we rode dirt bikes back and forth all over the area. Check it out when you get a chance!-Mike
