I have looked for the location of the Made in Japan sticker. Can someone tell me the location, or better yet i would like to see a photo!

No 'Made In Japan' sticker on a CBX made for the US market. One sort of like that was on a frame tube of Euro-market bikes. Unless I'm not understanding what you're asking.

Hi Dave and thanks. I got several stickers for the 79 when I did the repaint and one was in the kit. I was interested in knowing where it goes. Thanks, wayne

I had a '79 that had that sticker on it.
It was on the bottom frame rail, coming out of the triple tree on the left side.
Just above where the #29 is in this frame schematic.
You could see it with the tank on the bike.
I have no idea if it was proper.

Yes, that's where the Euro version had a sticker. Maybe EMS will be along soon with a photo - I know he has one.

Sorry, if mine had the sticker, it is long gone. At that same spot, on the right side of the bike, is the non-U.S. VIN plate.

I have quite a collection of pictures of CBXes from all over the world. I checked them and none of them show the sticker.
