Rumor has it that Natasha has finished another school semester and got a magazine put together with Brendan... Can anyone confirm ;-)

Mine came on Friday. Finally got a chance to look at it last evening. Nice.

Got an email from an old friend in Wisconsin who got his as well.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Yes the CMS adverts seem to be drawing some interest... Nice bikes. And nice parts...

Bigbob:

The Xpress is really not for sale - it's a magazine that ICOA members (different from just forum members) receive. Might we bribe you with one to become an ICOA member?

I hope nobody will be confused by the different dates mentioned in the CBXPress about the SC Rally! The ICOA announcement on page 31 calls out for the correct date of May 28 through June 2, while the article from our Rally Director on the following page, page 32, puts it on June 5 -9.

Wow, Mike, didn't pick up on that. Hope it doesn't disappoint someone out of the loop that just shows up June 5. Most guys attending have by now reserved somewhere (there are guys staying other places nearby - hence the lower room totals noted elsewhere). That, combined with a good number of locals should make for a nice group. However many, and whoever, we always have a great time and will for sure here too!

Well, I am pretty confident that anybody who wants/plans to go has the correct date by now. It is just that there are always a few snipers waiting to shoot at the ICOA, especially in that carb service/DOT5 mutual admiration society..

Just FYI, I phoned the hotel and told them to inform people who are trying to book the wrong weekend about the correct information...

I composed, and sent, my submission to the CBXPress on 2/11/14. I left the dates for the rally out, and noted such, as they were unclear. So, at some point they were changed, without the change being reflected in my column.

I don't want to appear to be passing the buck, but I tried be timely and accurate.

At any rate, this looks to be a great rally. I wish I were able to attend.

edit: Given the series of events, and the extended times involved, I'm amazed at how well this latest edition turned out. Great job by Jan and his team, especially Natasha. She did an outstanding job getting this issue together. So, let's learn by this little error, and work together to make future issues even better.

I suggest giving each contributor a weeks notice before publication, so he/she can proofread again, to look for such changes.
