First ride of the year.

Post by steve murdoch icoa #5322 »

Finally got out for the first decent ride of the year.
Lousy weather and bike woes conspired to make it a late start.
My '79 still has a couple small gremlins that need some attention including a carb synch but it was a blast to hit the back roads.

You know, Steve-O, I didn't think spoked wheels would look good on a CBX. Until I saw THIS 8)
Is that Kal-Gard on the motor ?
Very nice!
This is the first year that I beat you in getting out. Though this weekend......

Thanks for the compliments, gents.
As owners most of us have experienced the attention that these bikes bring. It was fun stopping for coffee at the local bike hang-out and listening to the comments.
Mikey, the paint is an "antique" grey and only a good 10-footer. It had already been painted before i got it and unfortunately the paint was not applied properly or it is of poor quality. Even gas can mar it if not cleaned off promptly.

Got the '81 out for a ride yesterday.
Before the tourists arrive for the summer The Niagara Parkway is a nice road.
Stopped at Queenston Heights for a pic. Last year it was daffodils, this year tulips.
