One of Allen Millyard's famous multi-Kawasakis I would love to have his 12-cyl or the 8-cyl Z-1

I'm on the lookout for a 5-cyl bike - I've had a single, twin, I4, and I6. Triples are easy to come by (kinda spoiled for choice at the moment), but a 5 takes some hustling...
If only Honda had gone ahead with their long-rumored RC211V road bike!

It might be your lucky day. I believe that Allen is thinking about selling a 4 and a 5 cyl. Kawasaki.

That's cool, but I think y 5-cyl itch will go forever unscratched. I'm in a position to have any bike I want, just not EVERY bike I want.FalldownPhil wrote:It might be your lucky day. I believe that Allen is thinking about selling a 4 and a 5 cyl. Kawasaki.

Well, check this out: http://www.bikeexif.com/bmw-k1600EMS wrote:I am not running for that office, Phil... seriously - the reason we haven't seen any wild customs is the complexity of the machine. Too much electronics for everything. If you start digging into this, you may have a real mess on your hand.Syscrush wrote:Love it. That machine is crazy. I can't believe that we haven't seen some radical customs built on them yet.
I nominate you to be the first...
Besides, it isn't really inexpensive to start with. Now, if I would find a crashed bike, with the motor and front end intact......

Re: Is It Time, Finally?
Heh heh, this talk gave me chuckles. I hear talk about high side of 50, etc. I am scared to think of what that makes me. A few decades older and my idea of a spirited ride is my 82 650 winding through roads, listening to the exhaust, and this time of year, trying not to make sudden maneuvers as I purposefully kick up a cloud of leaves!
Also, living in central Canada, the closest real race course is about 8 hours away, so backroads riding is what we do around here. 1098, might as well be a 50cc for all the use I would be able to make out of it on our roads. :p
