Want to borrow: Original clean parts manuals

Post by NobleHops »

As above, I would be appreciative if somebody would loan me original, clean copies of the parts manuals for both twin-shock and Prolink bikes. I will return them promptly, unmolested.

Please PM me if you can help.

Nils: Paper copies are extremely rare and hard to come by. I have never seen a U.S.version of these. Europe had them in multiple languages. The "catalogues" for the "CBX-Z" are popping up across the pond for sale ever so often. I have seen only one combined catalog for CBX-Z and A in my life and Louis beat me to it, when I wanted to buy it. I also have a copy of a CBX-B, CBX-C catalog.
Microfiches were the common thing here in the U.S.
If you have a way to copy microfiches, I will gladly help you out.

Did not know that (no surprise). I have a fuzzy copy I bought from CBXMAN before its demise, likely printed from some fiche reader/printer. Sure would like to have a nice sharp clean one to do my mischief with.

Great option Steve, thanks. Working on a solution to get a pristine set of originals in my hands, will hold your set in reserve while I explore that. Really want to start with a perfect original if at all possible.
