6 pages CBX Classic Mechanics out today!

Post by cbxmel »

Hi guys,

This months Classic Motorcycle Mechanics issue 316 Feb 2014 out today in the Uk has six pages of CBX material. Five pages on the history of the CBX by John Nutting and myself plus one page on my buddy David Carrolls CBX special. David had an article published in CBXpress Spring/Summer 2011 vol 31 no 1 so his name should be familiar to many of you. John has an excellent CBX pedigree having been one of the UK journalists who rode the pre-production prototypes at the Suzuka launch in November 1977 and also tested the 1980 A model for a US magazine when he worked in the USA. There is a picture of John on the track at Suzuka in the article plus another of the 1980 model he tested. Hope you enjoy if you buy it. If you cannot obtain at your local store go to http://www.themagazineman.co.uk .
On home page section 3 line 3 will find it. Ian Foster has supplied a picture of the UK clubs sectioned engine. Thanks Ian.

all the best Mel 1876

Thanks Larry,

There is also another article out in this months Classic Bike mag out on the 29th Jan. Available from same source or your
local store. January is a good CBX month! Pity about the weather though.

cheers Mel 1876

The timing sure does make sense as a lot of us are not riding.
This is an old pic.
Thanks for the heads up, Mel.
