CBXs, new bikes, old bikes, cars, trucks, general chat, off topic, this is the place to post it.

Let's see - throttle cables installed, couple of spark plug wires connected, speedo cable installed, rear footpeg in place, I'll keep looking.

Rear turn signals installed - that was a tough one. Front sprocket, cover and chain installed. Clutch cable/lever.

Big question is - how did you do all without moving any tools?

Jan, I like the color of the bike. The cbx Phil sold me was the same color. I still have the tank, side covers and tail piece just in case I want to change back.

Like it so far, the Orange engine cases definitely stand out.

Are the forks of a CB1100f ?

Hmm.. Hybrid. Fork tubes from CB1100R, fork lowers from CB1100F (I wanted the built-in fork brace plus didn't have a CB1100R fender painted in psychedelic blue), Handlebars CB1100R, Wheels CB1100R.

HA, oil cooler, oil cooling lines, spark units... "Find it and fit it" and these things fitted without needing any mods so the tools needed were minimal...

So, the rear wheel is 18" ?? You are wasting a prefectly fine R wheel, which could fetch $500.- on ebay on a CBX project?? :teasing-poke:

I like to think of it as a CB1100R/CBX project...
