Christmas in January
I continue to be amazed at the helpful, and generous nature of members on this forum. Think of it : if I were to tell you that someone here had stepped up and offered to help, when I had mentioned something in passing, the bunch of you would come up with a list of possible names. On other sites, it'd be a struggle to think of one.
Steve Murdoch offered me a chance at The book, that he had. He didn't want to make money on the offer, just see that I had an opportunity to get the book, if I wanted.
Well, I don't know how the rest of you folks spent your evening, but mine started like this
Thanks, again, Steve-O
Happy am I to stand in good company.

Re: Christmas in January
Power outage ? Nope, I was creating the proper mood to savour my first glance at Ian's epic.
I suppose that I could have flicked on a light, poured a Pepsi, plopped my butt in a chair, and had at it.
But, being the classy ( ) individual that I am, I felt the occasion warranted a more measured and cultured approach .

Can't think of a better read. Goes well with a wee nip of Glenmorangie or Macallan, too!

Thanks for the compliments, gents.
It is rare when i can help out with the mechanical aspect of these bikes so i do try and assist in other areas.
Looking forward to The CBX Book, Part Deux.
