For those of you who ever rode a bike up Pikes Peak in Colorado, this may be something of interest:
French rally driver Sébastien Loeb in a 875hp Peugeot, obliterated the old record set by Rhys Millen last year in a Hyundai by more than 92 seconds. New record is at 8 minutes, 13.878 seconds for the 12.42 mile, 156 turn ascent a 87 mph average.
The fastest motorcycle was once again ridden by Carlin Dunne of Santa Barbara. He was on a 2013 Lightning, an all-electric motorcycle beating 82 competitors with a time of 10 minutes 00.694 seconds. Second was Bruno Langlois on a 2013 Ducati Multistrada at 10 minutes 21.323 seconds...
And the fastest electric car clocked the hill climb also under 10 minutes...
Man, no fumes to smell. what a bore.
Wow! New Pikes Peak Record

Re: Wow! New Pikes Peak Record
Was the entire course paved last year? It is now. That might have made a difference.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.
