Why don't we auction "the CBX Book" at the 2013 International Mega Rally in Georgia?

A fair thought. Although, I'd expect to get more with an ebay auction. Georgia rally doesn't give much opportunity to our overseas members who are rather good CBX supporters.

I think the consensus is to have no grovelling. So one copy of the book will be offered as a door prize at the upcoming rally. One copy will go on Ebay and the proceeds will go to Cancer Research, and the last copy will go on with the proceeds going to Toys for Tots if that is OK with everyone. I will post the same note on CBXWorld...

Welcome to the site, Wabash.
The first edition is sold out and as Phil points out they do show up on E-Bay from time to time.
Ian is working on a second addition that hopefully will be available late this year, probably spring next year.

I'm starting the process of getting the new smaller "CBX Book" compiled for Publishing. I have had many new images sent (from as far afield as South Africa and New Zealand) and many more photos 'promised' ... if you have contacted me previously please get the old photos etc sent to me as soon as possible. Thanks guys.

I still need all your recommendations and suggestions on the following please (send to ian@netvigator.com) ...
- 'When CBXs were new' ... showing old CBX photos from 1970s and 1980s (please submit any old photos you may have).
- A new chapter on "CBX personal Specials" built around the World (1/2 page per CBX-Special).
- Articles or adverts on Shops and Products serving CBXers (please recommend any you know of).
