Best part of the volunteering was a follow up call to the off track rider. I told him I was with Mosport properties, that he had damaged the facilities and needed to cover the cost of repairs to the grounds. His wife was in the background and didn't know he was at the track. Best time I have had on the phone, wish I had it on tape. He was getting grilled from both sides, beautiful dodging on his part until I broke, I couldn't hold back the laughfter, he got the joke, his wife didn't.
That is friggin' hilarious. OMG how did you keep a straight 'face'. Fantastic. :laughing-rollingyellow:

Jim, one last thing about that Try the Track before we wreck Phils thread.
I had borrowed a GoPro from my nephew and attached it to my helmet. I am VERY tech challenged.
You probably don't remember but i somehow ended up at the front of the line to enter the track and asked you to see if the camera was on. Between my imcompetence and you having 100 things going on i ended up with no video and 3 close-ups of my hand and 3 of your face. Very funny.

Hi Steve, sorry about the video screw up, the service here is too slow, I haven't seen the video yet.

This what it looks like riding Mosport:
Dean's CBX and I believe Richard Biggs KZ1000R at the 2013 Try the Track. The guy on the Valkyrie was hitting 180kph on the back straight at the 2012 ride, 2013 was a bit of a free-for-all, really no speed limit on the straight.

Yesterday Richard sent me photos of the first work he's done on my bike - fitting & plumbing a 13 row oil cooler, thermostat, and all AN fittings/hoses. From the pics the results look fantastic - I'm excited to see how he does fabbing a chain guard for me.

And pics of my sexy new triple clamps in my suspension thread here.

When I got those pics, I was so pleased I had to give him a call just so he could hear how glad I am about how everything looks and works together.

I picked up the bike from Richard on Saturday. He did beautiful work. Thanks so much for the referral, Steve.
