Always seems odd to me when things this rare turn up on Craigslist.

So, do you think the price is negotiable? I could see asking $20k.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Looking at the 'crate' might suggest that it recently came from Houston.

Looks like it’s in enclosed trailer. Notice the tie down hooks on the wall.

Agreed, the $50,000 ask seems nuts to me.
Thinking someplace like Barber might be interested to display it still in the crate with a completed bike beside it.
I would think Mother Honda probably has something similar in the bowels of their warehouses.

$50K for an '80, even if it's still in the crate that's seems nuts to me, but it only takes one person to step up and put their cash down...maybe a crated '79 could attract that kind of cash but even that would be difficult IMO...
CBX a work in progress, still improving...GS1150EFE completed and awaiting modifications.....RD350, remnants in boxes scattered throughout the garage
