Sad indeed. We were lucky to have the Haydens visit our little corner of the earth every Friday night for several years. They raced at the Lawrenceburg Speedway short track, just a few minutes from our house. I helped a neighbor and his son, who was racing against Tommy Hayden, Nicky's older brother. The Hayden family is a great bunch of down home folks. Nicky will be missed.
