Congratulations Zgrand !!
When you are up to your ass in alligators it is sometimes difficult
to remember that your objective was to drain the swamp !!

Take a bow, Z. Your bike is a beauty.
I don't remember ever seeing the gauges you have stashed in the fuse cover. Very tidy.
Can you give us some info on them.

Congratulations are definitely in order. That is a beautiful X. I like that it gets ridden, too!

Re: Congratulations Zgrand !!
Thanks, everyone. I have a '90 Honda Hawk GT (picture below), and am a member on the Hawk discussion forum. They run a "Hawk of the Month" contest where people submit their Hawk and the membership votes on their favorite. Occasionally they will run a contest for something other than a Hawk, and last month it was "Non-Hawk Over 20 Years Old". There were other nice old bikes submitted as well.
Thanks,Phil, for posting this -- I check the site every day but somehow missed your post until now.

Thanks Jeff. All I have is an old Casio point-and-shoot 7.6MP camera I've had for years. It still takes great pictures so I've felt no need to replace it.Jeff Bennetts wrote:Congratulations on your win and what camera did you use for the pictures? they came out really well!

Thanks, Steve. They are a thermometer and clock made by a company named Formotion. They have a cast aluminum body and are liquid filled -- I attached them to the fuse cover with velcro. I have them mounted on several of the bikes. I'm assuming they're still available. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r3/formotio ... ometer.htmsteve murdoch icoa #5322 wrote:Take a bow, Z. Go straight to Formotion's site, the scenery is much better over there, I bought one of their watches yrs ago and it's still one of my most favorite watches to wear, not very expensive but it gets a lot of compliments.Z Grand wrote:Thanks, Steve. Congrats on a much-deserved win. That Hawk is pretty dang sessy, too! I had an SV650 and loved it, I think that most SV riders give respect to the Hawk. :)
