Re: Remembrance Day
I got stuck in traffic on my way home from Toronto on Friday.
It was particularly annoying because it meant i would miss the 11:00am Remembrance Day Service at my local Cenotaph.
As i was crossing over the Burlington Skyway i watched out of the west as an Avro Lancaster, Mitchell B-25 and Hercules flew by in formation. They had come out of the Hamilton War Museum Airport and were flying to a couple locations in Southern Ontario that were holding Services.
Even from a distance the sight and sound was very moving.
Lest we forget.
