Heard a new one yesterday

Post by whatscooking »

Was out for a ride and saw one of those M\B campers parked so the wife and I had to ask them how they liked it, we have looked at the dealer but wanted to ask an owner questions. The conversation soon turned to the CBX, hey I had one of those, twisted the crank in it he said, I just smiled and said bet you were running the sh&# out of it, he said hell yes and we went from there. Turns out this guy was a airplane mechanic along with many other things. He asked me if I had read that the Japanese had a name for a airplane during WW2 that was on our side they called it a whispering, of course I forgot what he said. He said that Honda tuned the exhaust on the CBX to sound like that. I would have to agree.

Thanks, for some reason I was imagining a camper type trailer for a motorbike, kind of thing you might see on the back of a Goldwing.
