Seasons Greetings to all ... and best wishes for 2016!!

In the New Year I am planning to do another of my cross-USA Truck drives in early-February 2016, to move my Bikes back to N.Ireland. The VERY tentative Timetable at the moment is something like ...

30 Jan.2016 ... down in SanDiego collecting a CBX-Z engine!! (anyone around George.D?)
31 Jan.2016 ... meet CA-CBXers at 'Rock Store' (Falldown-Phil?)
1-3 Feb.2016 ... in and around SanFransisco.
5-6 Feb. 2016 ... Phoenix (Bike Scrapyard visit)
8-9 Feb. ... Pueblo West and Denver, Colorado
11-12 Feb ... Traer, S.Dakota and Ft.Wayne, Indiana collecting Bikes.
13 Feb ... Columbus, Ohio (hopefully meet Jan, anyone around?)
15 Feb. ... Tim McDowell's Classic Bike Shop in Baltimore

If you are along this route it would be great to meet you for a coffee, but as usual I will be on a tight schedule driving cross-country. If you are one of the Folk who has asked to have your "CBX Book" or "CBX Book II" autographed, then this is your chance (unless you intend coming to Hong Kong or N.Ireland in the future ... hehehe)!!

If anyone know of any Bike/Car Shows on around this time, please let me know. Also if you know of any good 'Bike Breaker Yards' along the way, I need spares for CB900F, XS1100, FZ750, etc. Thanks for any pointers!

Sunday 31 Jan.2016 ... meet Falldown-Phil and the CA-CBXers at 'Rock Store' at 9.00am ... on to see a Bike Museum.

Monday 1st Feb.2016 ... gathering at Rod and Angela Libby's Home in Livermore (south of SanFransisco). Pizza and tyre kicking at 6.00pm on...

Tuesday 9 Feb. 2016 ... meet CBXers/CB-Fers in Denver, Colorado for breakfast.

Friday 12 Feb. 2016 ... Meeting Larry's buddies in Ft.Wayne, Indiana. We have a little ceremony planned for Larry.

Saturday 13 Feb. 2016 ... Columbus, Ohio meeting Jan Ringnalda and the ICOA guys at the AMA Museum.

Tuesday 16 Feb. 2016 ... Tim McDowell's Classic Bike Shop in Baltimore ... loading Bikes into Container!

Hi Guys,

It is Ian Foster here at Jeff's place in North Canton, Ohio enjoying some good American hospitality (great steak washed down with local beer!).

My USA trip has been turned on its head ... I had a problem with some Bike Titles in California, so had to resolve this before Shipping, so rather than going to Baltimore all Bikes have to be brought back to CA and Shipped from there once Titles resolved.

I changed the Plan on last Thursday morning, caught the 'red-eye' flight to Baltimore on Thursday night, and got into the East Coast on Friday morning. I visited with Tim McDowell and the Baltimore CBXers at his Shop, and enjoyed some food that night at an Irish Bar.

Today I head down to Columbus, Ohio and meet Jan Ringnalda and hopefully see the AMA Museum. tHen on Weat over the next few days with a load of Bikes in the Penske Truck ... Monday in Ft.Wayne, Tuesday in Iowa, Wednesday in Nebraska, Thursday in Denver, then over the mountains and into LA by the weekend.

I apologize to those guys who had organized gatherings based on my old timetable. I enjoyed some great gatherings last weekend in LosAngeles organized by Phil Taber, and then in SanFran organized by Rod Libby. As always a great time in USA.

I'll keep you all updated on my progress.
