Dale Walkster has passed
Had the chance to talk to him a few times while organizing the ICOA CBX Nationals in Morganton NC, his museum was still in Asheville at the time, a very nice fella and a big loss for the Vintage MC community!

I remember seeing him a couple times on the Pickers show.
When they found something ultra rare they would contact him.

Re: Dale Walkster has passed
We met him at the Las Vegas auction several years ago. He used to be a fixture there for many years. Hadn't seen him for 3-4 years there, suppose this was why. Sad indeed.

He battled cancer for some 4 years.
I remember one of the meetings we had in Maggie Valley, Louis was cooking steaks on his huge grill and Dale joined us several nights in the hotel parking lot, because he had a crush on one of the girls that worked in the hotel. He showed off on a white Excelsior Henderson.

That rally was when I first met Dale. It led to his helping us buy the Henderson and get it up and running. We'll miss him.

Either garage is too small or we have too many bikes. Or Momma's car needs to go outside.

Re: Dale Walkster has passed
He and his son took us on a personal tour of the museum during an FZ1 rally some years back. Really neat guys. Rest in peace, Dale.
