I guess the obvious question is - you don't have your stock grommets? Anyway, we'll see what they supply. I'm guessing the banjos are 10x1.25, but am currently not very mobile and really can't check for you. Maybe someone else? Good luck.

hey guys

I have the spieglers on my '81 cbx AND my '86 vf1000r. on both bikes I had spiegler put THIER grommet on the lines and they fit the stock brackets on the bikes perfectly. you have to make sure at time of ordering to tell spiegler to put the grommet's on in the build process. you can add them later if you slice them with a very sharp knife then glue them back together once you put them around the cable, ask me how I know this.

thx
kent

Were they that tight a fit that you couldn't heat/grease them and slip them on over the fittings? I understand they are thicker than the stock ones if they grip the smaller diameter hose, but rubber stretches a lot. Or are you saying that you had the lines already installed and didn't want to break the system down again to install grommets?

ya I had them all on and bled and working great than realized I forgot the grommets!!! I talked to spiegler and they suggested I buy them and slice lengthwise and put on the cable than I used a super glue to put them back together. they now fit perfectly into the brackets on the bike. my VFR1000r I remembered up front and had spiegler build them with the grommets on. front, rear brakes and clutch cable all fit nice and work great. I am now restoring an 1/70 CB750KO and am looking to put the spieglers on that but as yet have had no luck with a response from them on a fitment for the bike.......

thx
