i am in the process of rebuilding my pro-links brakes. i do not like the looks of the hose between the rear master cylinder and the reservoir as it is pretty beat up. i would like to replace this hose however my local honda shop says it is no longer available??? has anyone changed to a different type of hose here? i am thinking about some clear type of tubing however i am worried about what brake fluid (dot3) will do to plastic or vinyl or rubber tubing? any thoughts on this?

thanks
Kent

You can get it Tygon here, they also explain how you can just run a hose with a vented plug and eliminate the reservoir completely.

You can always use coloured shrink sleeve, I used this on the oil cooler pipes it looks great.

nigelyoud,
if you find a spare moment, would you please share a pic of your application?
Thank you.

I used some Tygon line and covered it with this nylon black braid then used shrink tube to secure it. The shrink tube is under the spring clamps.
