Hello there, and welcome to the site.

Looking at your forum name I'm going to make an educated guess that you have one of the other Honda models that were also designated "CBX". This group is really oriented around the 6-cylinder 1000cc bike, and so I doubt you'll find much interest for your part here, sorry to say. You're probably better off on one of the European eBay sites - I don't think that bike even made it to the USA, could be wrong.

That is the seat and tailpiece to a CB700SC Nighthawk. They did indeed sell it here (for a couple of years). I believe 84-86. Had one, never should have sold it. Shaft drive, hydraulic lifters, 6 speed tranny. Guy across the street bought it and it is severely painful to watch something you have taken care of go to shit.

Ahhh, so it is. I have a soft spot for those bikes too. Agree with your angst about seeing one's formerly loved stuff in someone else's hands...
