The Super Sport Shed is a UK-based specialist company focussing on the Honda CBX and CB DOHC motorcycles. Our experts between us have 80+ years of engineering experience, Chris Magri our South African-based partner has owned a CBX since 1978 and has been working full-time on the CBX since 1985. Chris & I have rebuilt well over 120 CBX & CB DOHC engines and hundreds of sets of CBX carbs during that time.
Cary Knapton (Me) joined forces with Chris in 2016 to learn the CBX craft working alongside Chris full-time for nearly 3 years rebuilding my own projects and helping Chris with Customer bikes. During this time we have taken the CBX craft to the next level using my 40+ years of engineering and manufacturing skills and Chris's in-depth knowledge of the CBX.
The Super Sport Shed along this journey has resolved the alternator design flaw and now manufactures a fix which is now sold across the globe to keep these bikes running. In addition, we jointly worked with various partners (originally started by Nils) to remanufacture the headlight case, Rick Armao is the US partner and sells these in the Americas. We have remanufactured numerous NLA parts for the CBX which can be found here:-

We manufacture many parts that are exclusive to us on the carburetors, such as the overflow tubes that crack, replacement tab washers, replacement rubber T pieces for the breathers, and the throttle joint dust seals. All our carb kits use Viton JIS sized O rings the gaskets and passage plugs are FKM Viton essential for ethanol-based fuels. We offer 3 carb kit levels, a service seal kit, a comprehensive and professional to cover all skill sets and needs when rebuilding carbs. The various kits can be found here:-

We are a small family outfit that like others keeps the CBX craft and parts running for the current and future generations.
