H-4 headlight

Post by donny dotson »

I'm looking at a head light for a 550 CBX, it says H-4 on the glass an has a parking light. If it says H-4 will it fit in a US CBX bucket and ring?? I'm buying the 1100 R kill switch with on off with parking light switch on it and I want it to be functional. Does anyone Know?

I never put a CBX550 headlight into a CBX bucket, so I cannot say. But how about giving it a try. What do you have to lose? The 550 light shouldn't be that expensive. Considering the way parts prices for our CBXes go, knowing alternative fits is always a good thing.
The 1100R switch is not a "sport kit" style switch. The cables do not exit to the top.

You are probably right but, the CB 1100 FD do, thats the one's I got. And your right it's only 50 bucks. It could be the start of something good ( more affordable sport kits ). I will let everybody know what happens.
