Stock gauge diameter?

Post by Syscrush »

Hi guys.

What is the diameter of the stock speedo & tach? I'm shopping for replacements, and not sure if I should be getting 80mm, 85, 100, 3-3/8", 4", or what. I'll have the bike back and be able to take measurements in a couple of days, but if someone can provide the info here I can get the ball rolling a bit sooner.

Phil, the best measurement I could make was 105-107mm just behind the point they pass through the bracket. My calipers aren't deep enough to do it directly, but one of my wood clamps was :-). I gauged it with those and then measured the clamps with the calipers, hence the uncertainty. Hope that helps.

I get 3-5/8" for the yellow plastic underbody and 4-1/8" for the black outside ring looking at it from the front.
