Lubing the cables

Post by Hobbes »

Howdy everyone!

I've heard that the CBX cables have a teflon lining. If that's true, is it alright to lube them using one of the cable lube tools and the lube that comes with it?

Or will this do bad things to the teflon?

(I plan on doing all the cables).

Thanks!

Grab one of the wifes fry pans and try the lube on that teflon. See if there is a reaction. Let us know how that goes, with the wife that is.

to the dog house!

It would be kinda funny... "i'm just trying out this new lo-cal cooking oil/intestinal fortifier"

I wonder how much heat it could stand...

Thanks for the, uh, suggestion.
