a diy crimper a forum member mike209 made...unfortunately I didn't have a machine shop to reproduce that so I used a small screwdriver to pry up the lip and the same driver to press the lip back into place...tedious work but if you go slow it'll do the job...
CBX a work in progress, still improving...GS1150EFE completed and awaiting modifications.....RD350, remnants in boxes scattered throughout the garage

Love this post. You gave me courage to revisit working on my speedo. My tripmeter knob is completely stuck (turn it clockwise endless times but it just won't let go). Had to cut it and now is only attached with a piece of straw.

Plus the glass over the speedo had some condensation leak in and now it has some waterspots mark on the inside.

The OCD in me has been restless.
