Ignition

Post by rbarber »

Does anybody know for sure what the ignition sequence is?

Is it 1-2-3-6-5-4 or 1-5-3-6-2-4 or 1-5-4-6-2-3 or 1-2-4-6-5-3...I think these are all the combinations possible :?: :? I can't find it in the service manual. Unless I am not looking right

I've always wondered that and was unable to find the info in the service manuel either. I guess the easy way would be to remove the valve cover and turn the engine over checking the order in which the valves open/close.

I had the firing order as 1,5,3,6,2,4. Can't confirm how this was derived though. :?
