Signals!!!

Post by cba »

I was taking the '80 for inspection and my blinkers aren't working! When the switch is turned there isn't any difference in the front lights at all and nothing at the rear. I took out the headlight and checked all the connections, nothing seemed out of place. What could it be?Also, the flasher still clicks when I move the switch from left to right. I replaced it with another and still same thing, clicks and that's all. Thanks, Chet
AM I THERE YET?

Try rolling the fuse around in the clip. Mine started doing that and I traced it to a dirty fuse holder.

Check the grounds for the turn signals. Also have a voltmeter grounded to the battery and check for voltage to the pigtails for the turn signals.

So, some 5-6 months later...what's wrong with the blinkers?
