honda cbx250 were to start....

Hey all



I have been given a honda cbx250 i have no idea what year it it, and it hasnt been started for atleast 2 years,



the ignition barrel is stuffed and has now been removed so im left with a brown wire, a brown striped wire, a red wire, a red striped wire, a yellow striped wire a black striped wire, and a green striped wire, i know the green striped goes to the black striped, and that the red wire is +, im pretty sure the red strip goes to the red wire, yet not sure on the yellow strip or the 2 brown wires,

anyone able to help me?



the bikes in realy bad condition yet im hoping to get it running.

Hi. You don't say what colors the stripes (traces) are. It matters. Also bear in mind that on a non-U.S. model like this one the color codes may be different from what we are used to. Other than that possibility however, the colors on Hondas haven't changed very much since about 1967.
