What Code is the U.S. Model

Post by Trapshooter12 »

I have a 1979 CBX US model. Not sure what code my bike is. Does not have a US. code. And also wanting to buy a speed kit but don't know what code to go by on that. Hope someone can help decode them for us. The area codes given in this parts catalogue can be identified as follows: CM = Canada, DK = general export (KPH), DM = general export (MPH), E = England, ED = European direct sales, F = France, G = Germany, SA = South Africa, U = Australia

Let me rephrase that question. Is the U.S. model CBX a DM, DK, or CM? Trying to get the facts right. Thank's, Frank
