Clock removal

Post by wiggs »

i have restored my 82 Cbx but have an issue with the Honda accessory clock - it stopped working and cannot figure out how to remove from the fairing as all the wiring and brackets hidden from view . There must be a easy way to remove other than taking the whole fairing off - has anyone removed the accessory guages before or can help,
Many thanks

You'd better have small hands. Very tedious job and there is no easy way. Make sure you didn't blow a fuse first.

Got it done , single nut on the back clamp , was very difficult to reach with an adapted spanner, was a chafed wire shorting

Many thanks

Good stuff, wiggs. Glad it worked-out; and, was that simple a fix. Once in a great while, we do get a break, eh!
