‘79 front fork finish?

Good day folks,

Did a search and didn’t come up with anything.....

Doing a semi restoration on my ‘79 and the lower fork tubes need attention....some very light corrosion has set in and I want it gone. Going to sand blast the tubes with very fine sand, and then prep for two stage paint.
The current finish looks like satin, but it’s 40 years old......my question is what is the correct finish?

Do yourself a favor and bead blast - not sand. No fancy two-stage paint, just rattle-can satin trim paint.

This is what I’ve found to look like stock and hold up over the years
