Super-Sport decal

Did the Super-Sport tank decal on the CBX1000 change during it's year to year production run?
Where they all the same for all models years?

They were the same for the '79-'80 models, if that's what you're asking.

I've seen two types of decals & not sure which is correct for a 1979 model.
The outside of the O is either hexagonal (6 sided) or octagonal (8 sided) in shape.
Did Honda change the decal after 1980?

I have only ever seen the 6-sided version.

This is the original decal. Looks like the "o" is "six-sided". I have not seen a different one either. But there are reproduction decals and maybe some are different.
These decals were on the tanks only on the 79 and 80 models. There were no Supersport tank decals after 1980. 1981 and 1982 only had stripes on the side of the tank
